Not sure what to say?

I met him as a young child when they visited my family in Mexico. As an adult we had few phone conversations, many years ago. We were not able to meet in person for one reason or another... RIP Pat Mc Manus, may your memory be a continuous blessing to many, for years to come!

I had Mr. McManus at SRHS and he encouraged me to follow my dream job, in which I did, and had a good 24 years doing it. Thank you for believing in me. RIP

Mr. McManus was such an amazing guy. When I was in the 10th grade he showed me "The Good Earth". He said, "Read this, and you will be an educated man" I'm not a reader, but I read it. One of the few books I have ever read. Thank you Mr. McManus.

Blessed to have had Jim McManus as my first coach. He was a true mentor. Jim could be both fun and firm. And he never hesitated to let me know if i was going in the wrong direction. Thanks Coach!

My deepest condolences to the family of Coach McManus. he was one of the great teachers and P.E Coaches of my memorable time at Cook Junior High School. ( 1966-68) Lessons learned from him served us all well in later life, and his example inspired me to become a PE Coach in later life. Thank you Coach for all you have given the innumerable students who passed through your capable hands. We were all blessed to have had you in our lives.

I had the opportunity to have Mr. McManus as a teacher at both Cook Jr High and later at SRHS. A great teacher and friend to his students. Thank you so much for the guidance and inspiration.

I was sorry to read about Mr. McManus' death in this morning's paper. I was a student of his at Cook JHS back in the early '60s. I have always remembered him as one of my favorite teachers. I saw him many years ago at Analy High School when we were taking night classes in rooms next door to each other. He and his wife were planning a trip to Italy and taking Italian. When I said hello to him, he actually remembered me and my name! It was wonderful to see him and have a chat with him. I...
