I was a classmate of Pat's at California Western. He was among the most intelligent, most athletic, and most fun people to spend time with there. Whether we were discussing something from class or playing basketball: I was always impressed with how effortlessly he could excel above others at the task at hand. And always with a smile on his face. He was special. I'm grateful for my time spent with him and so saddened by his passing. My thoughts are with his family.
