Not sure what to say?

May God rest his soul and comfort all of his loved ones.
Greg Garbina, Prior Lake, Mn.

I went to school with Pat and even dated him for awhile. He came across as hard on the outside, but inside he was a softie. I loved his sense of humor and generosity of self. Thank you Pat for serving our country. You will be missed.

Uncle Pat was truly one of the most intelligent, insightful and witty people I have ever known. Any phone call with Pat could keep you occupied (like it or not!) for hours. In those calls and e-mails, Uncle Pat educated me on everything from the Vietnam War and the state of present day Vietnam, to his take on current public policy, to interesting legal cases (especially ones affecting USPS). I laugh when I think of his latest adventure in shipping me an iPod (pink no less) filled with all...

I am wondering if this is the same Patrick Murphy that went to Nativity of Mary School in Bloomington MN in 1960-61. If so, I was a first year teacher for that 5th grade. I have often thought of Patrick and wondered where life had taken this bright young man. He made quite an impression on me as he was a special boy in that class.
My deepest sympathy to all his loved ones.

To the entire Murphy clan:

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Pat. I did not know Pat real well, but I know this-he was a patriot who served his country bravely and with distinction. May he rest in peace.
