Patrick was born on January 21, 1949 and passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Patrick was a resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas at the time of passing. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Savage was commissioned as a U.S. Air Force officer during his first year in medical school and completed his internship, residency and fellowship in pulmonary medicine while in the Air Force. Public visitation will be on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home, 1629 E Nettleton, Jonesboro, Arkansas, with Service to follow at 2:00 pm with Brother Emil Williams officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to either Lucie's Place (Little Rock, Arkansas) or Susan G. Komen - Ozark Affiliate (Springdale, Arkansas).

I knew Pat when he was a high school student living with his parents aboard Blytheville Air Force Base, Arkansas. An outstanding student and a diligent athlete, Pat possessed a superior personality. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

Pat and I became friends over 27 years ago. We shared a mutual disease, and shared many times. Years went by, and I had moved to Randolph county, and we lost contact, I received my medical care thru VA, and after I transferred My care to Paragould Ar, low and behold, Pat was my new Doctor. I was blessed, for him to be My Doctor , and a friend .Pat will be sorely missed, and we shared many hours and Laughing and worrying.

Dr. Savage will be greatly missed. His sense of humor was one of a kind. Condolences to Mary and his family.
