Mr. Oliver was a great teacher. He gave me the want to play better every time I had a lesson. He will be greatly missed by myself and my friends.

My son studied trumpet with Mr. Oliver for several years when he was a student at Penn Trafford HS. He had wonderful stories and memories about the time he spent with this wonderful man. God Bless you, Mr. Oliver.

My condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of Patsy Oliver. I will cherish the memories of our friendship.

I am sorry to hear about Patsy's passing. He taught me at North Catholic. I thought of him often this summar, as I practiced (and played) thetrombone for the first time in over 20 years -- as part of my wedding. MJH

Mr. Oliver's family: I extend sincere condolences on the loss of such a fine and talented individual. As assistant to the dean at Duquesne's Music School for almost 13 years, I enjoyed Mr. Oliver's visits and looked forward to his warm smile. He will be missed by the Pittsburgh community.
