Patsy Sue Orcutt, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her Savior on April 12, 2025. Born Patsy Sue Ray on November 27, 1939, in Stephenville, Texas, she was raised in Grand Prairie by her loving parents, Jack and Beatrice Ray, alongside her sister, Jimmie.

Patsy was a woman of strength and unwavering faith. She was married to the love of her life, Sam Orcutt, for over 40 wonderful years. Their marriage was a beautiful example of devotion, partnership, and enduring love.

She is survived by her children: Danny and Lorree Norris, Kim and Tim Felts, and Larry and Andrea Norris, and Christy Orcutt. She was a proud and loving Mimi to Sarah Ketner, Leah and Justin Blackburn, Joel Norris, Miranda and Russell Murphy, Erin Norris, Rachel Norris, Katherine Norris, Matthew Gadlage, and Marcus Gadlage and great-grandmother to 6 precious great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Samantha Orcutt-Gadlage.

A woman of deep faith, Patsy was a longtime and active member of The Park Church of Christ. She enjoyed singing on Sundays and attending annual ladies retreats. Her life reflected her love for the Lord—full of grace, compassion, and kindness.

Patsy had a deep love for travel and found joy in creating meals and memories with those she loved. Her striking blue eyes and vibrant red hair were as unforgettable as her spirit—often the first things people noticed, and always a perfect reflection of her warmth and charm.

She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and a legacy full of faith and love.
