Stella Feeney Obituary

Stella Feeney, 77, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026. She was born on October 23, 1948, in Hammond, Indiana, where she was raised. In recent years, she made her home in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Gladys Seno, and her brother, James "Pat" Seno.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 55 years, James Feeney; her children, Patrick (Jennifer) Feeney, Maribeth (Robert) Stewart, and Gina Feeney; and her cherished grandchildren, Aidan, Hannah, Claire, Sarah, Rachel, Maria, Samuel, and Nolan. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael (Kathy) Seno and Stephan Seno.
Stella found great joy in arts and crafts, especially creating beautiful gift baskets and decorating for special occasions. She was deeply involved in her children's lives, faithfully supporting their activities and volunteering her time in many ways. She assisted with Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, helped build a soccer field at her children's school, and dedicated many hours serving her parish, particularly during the annual church carnival. Stella had a strong and abiding faith and maintained a close relationship with the Lord throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 7667 E. 109th Avenue, Crown Point, Indiana 46307. Stella will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
