Thinking of Paul on his birthday

I met Paul in 2002 while working on the Court Records project for the Connecticut State Archives. Paul was a volunteer at the time, employed at ING but looking for his first professional position as a librarian, and I had a temporary grand-funded position. We had many long talks about libraries and librarianship but also life in general, since we were both helping to care for older relatives at the time (his aunt and my father and great aunt). I know you are smiling down on your family. They truly love and miss you

I just found out and am so saddened. Paul was one of my best friends at Quinnipiac and I still always think of such happy memories of him. I just saw him last May at our reunion.Paul was so kind and gentle. Memories I have are of the muscular dystrophy marathon dance at Quinnipiac; we danced all night. I also remember the surprise birthday party Paul threw for me and the wonderful trips to Wildwood and Florida.Whenever I hear Journey I think of Paul. So sorry for your loss.

To the staff at CSL...and Paul's family and friends....the loss of a leader...no matter how hard you try...can never be replicated or replaced...he can only be remembered for his life accomplishments and the kindness and tenderness that was felt by all who was blessed to both know and interact with him.
