Mindy's and my hearts go out to Marge, Adam, Ester and Judah. I don't use the term lightly: Paul was a great man. He fought for the public good; he loved his family; he lived his entire life with keen intelligence, wit and panache. One of a kind.

Paul was a remarkable person, and the rarest thing to find in Washington: a true fighter for the public interest against powerful adversaries. At the same time, he was cultured, kind and had a great sense of humor. I cherish the memory of knowing him and covering him as a journalist, and will miss him very much. Our prayers go out to Marge and the whole Bloom family.

Love to the family and deepest sympathies. May Paul rest in peace. He is greatly missed. I had the good fortune to meet Cousin Paul and Marge about 30 years ago. Paul, Marge, the children, and the extended family continue to spark my imagination and renew my hope in the world despite the ups and downs of life. I cannot separate Paul from the wonderful family and friends around him and visa versa. His deeds of loving kindness and ways of seeing things will stay with all of us. I believe...

Howard and I knew when we met Paul close to 30 years ago, that he would touch our lives in many ways. He did, and has left us with indelible memories. He created a life which will be remembered as a blessing.

Dear Margie - I am so sorry to learn of Paul's death. Gene sent me the write-up from the New York Times. Both you and Paul were such great friends to my mother over the years and I always appreciated that so much.
Roselyn loved Paul and David like sons.

To Paul's Wife and family I offer my condolences. Paul was an extrodinary person and exceptional lawyer. I first met Paul when I took my first job as asst. D A in Santa Fe upon graduating from law school. Paul, Neil Stillinger and I were young lawyers together. Even in those early days it was evident Paul was someone special.
