Paul Bridges

Remembering Paul and thinking of the loss to his family, friends, and community. The first time I met Paul he was a teenager. He had quite a personality even then. At that time, my Grammie Smith had introduced me to the world of Genealogy. I was fascinated when looking at Paul that I could easily see features of Aunt Loretta and Uncle Harold. I never forgot that moment and over the years (as he grew taller and muscular like a real life Action Hero) that I could still see them in his face: ...

Remembering Paul and thinking of his family.

I can remember talks with Mom and Dad about how sad it was that Paul was in pain so much of his life ... yet we always ended up talking about Paul's wonderful laugh. This Little Prince quote is apropos: "In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of the stars I shall be laughing." We can look up at the night sky and be reminded of Paul as we watch the stars twinkle. He is still with us.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Paul. I will never forget the years we served together.

Dear Bridges family,

So sorry to hear of you loss. I had the pleasure of working with your Dad for over three decades. I always found him to be honest, truthful and caring in dealing with the public and subordinates alike. Whether a victim or suspect, you were treated with the respect due you. He was a credit to the FPD and the Town of Framingham. Rest in peace Paul, you deserve it.
