Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Paul's death, but feel so fortunate that I had a chance to meet, know, and work with Paul. I spent a great week with him installing and testing a software fix in a North Hollywood telephone office. What a great mentor he was as we worked to ensure that we had a solid fix for a software bug. Later after his xfer to Bell Labs, I enjoyed working with Paul in the Naperville labs.

With condolences but also great joy for my fond memories, John Savage

Though I did not know Paul by name, I knew him from the WMB concerts and his continuing support. He will be missed. God Bless and my sincere sympathies to his family.

Paul left indelible memories with many colleagues thankful for the expert assistance he gave so readily, willingly and unselfishly. His knowledge of electronic switching systems was extensive; he was truly “one of a kind.” On behalf of his many friends and colleagues at Pacific Bell and Bell Laboratories, I say: Thanks for the memories! God Speed, Paul!

To Paul's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was a great guy and a good friend. I always, always enjoyed working with him. But, as I know he was a solid believer in our Savior, I'm confident we will see him again in Glory.

My sincere condolences to the Bufkin family. I had the great honor and pleasure of knowing Paul. He was a very special man. Paul was a true pillar of our company. His devotion to the company, his desire to resolve very complex technical issues and his willingness to help others were unmatched. He will be missed.

Dear Verda, I'm so sorry for your loss. Since I was there at the same point you are not too long ago, I really do feel for your sorrow. Paul and I sang together at WBC and we have good memories of that. May our Lord bless and comfort you, and please know that I will be praying for you in the days ahead. With love,

My heart felt condolences to Paul's family. I had the privilege to work alongside Paul many times, and it was always a treat. A master at troubleshooting any kind of problem, but he loved tackling the difficult ones. Paul will be remembered as a positive influence for all, in our telecom career.

My deepest sympathies to Paul's family. My fondest memory of Paul is him either running into or out of work. And of course with his sailors hat on! Worked with him at Lucent in CTS. And he was always in a good mood and smiling. May memories you have and that others share here keep your heart light during this difficult time

Paul was an inspiration and my mentor. I learned so much from him. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.
