Paul Eugene Burtner

I would love to hear more stories from people! My grandmother was with Paul for 31 years, and he is the only grandfather I ever had. He wasn't my real one, but no one would have ever known. Pappy Paul and I were very close. Up until his last days he always remained positive and was able to smile and joke about things. I was so lucky to have a man like him in my life. I know he is watching over me now and its a wonderful feeling. He will be very loved and missed that's for sure.

My heart is heavy. Paul and I have been emailing for a number of years and I had no idea of his illness. Paul was with us at CV high for a few years and a great football player. Had he remained at CV, it is likely he would have been among the best defensive players in its history. He hit me harder than any opponent ever. Sorry of learning of Paul's passing. I often wondered what became of Paul I was married to his uncle Norris Kuhn (Peck) we sort of lost track of the family a long time ago. Many memories of him and his family
