Not sure what to say?

Friends of Paul's sister Marian Donnelly Zengerle wish to extend condolences to Paul's family. Like Leo, a gentle man, Paul will be missed!

I have taken the liberty of sending notice of COL Donnelly’s death to Static Line, the Airborne newspaper so that his fellow paratroopers may know of his passing and render a final salute.

I am going to miss my Uncle Paul terribly. He was always a pleasure to be around. He had a great sense of humor, which he passed down to his children. He and Aunt Betsy were so good to my sister Amy and I when we moved to Austin years ago. Our hearts and prayers go out to Betsy and the rest of the family. Uncle Paul was a great man.

Love, Tania

I wish to express my deepest regrets for the passing of a great man, Colonel Donnelly. Paul was an outstanding example of a man, one that I looked up to as a guide in my own life. Humor and living life to the fullest is how I'll remember Paul. God bless to all the Donnelly's in your time of sorrow, he will be missed.

I want to express my deepest sorrow at the passing of “Uncle” Paul. I’ve only had the opportunity to visit with him a couple of times through the years, however, I knew him well through his niece, Tania. He was a man to be respected and admired and I know he will be greatly missed by Aunt Betsy, his family and friends.

Diane and I wish to express our sorrow at the passing of Uncle Paul. Even though we have been separated and not close relatives, we still will miss him. Our prayers and thoughts are with Aunt Betsy and the family as they grieve their loss. I am very thankful for the years of military service that Uncle Paul gave to our country.
