Paul Furimsky

Mike and family, I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of Paul. He was my mentor in that he taught me the ins and outs of timing for the Fever. I am truly grateful to him. I know he lived a full life and will be missed by all. God bless all of you.

To Poods Family...Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our world would be a better place if there were more Poods. He will be with us forever. Mike & family, I am so sorry for your loss, but so appreciative of the many years I had with Pood. From the Pacer days in the 70's and all of the Indianapolis Colts days, Pood was always good for a smile, a verbal jab and hard days work. May God comfort you and watch over ol' Pood.

I do not have the words to express the respect and admiration I had for "Pood". He, like the rest of the Pacers stat crew, have become a second family for me. "Pood" welcomed me when I joined the crew in 2000 and he fondly referred to me always as "the rookie" or "part-timer" because I will never catch him or the original stat guys in games worked. Some of my fondest memories will always be sharing a meal with "Pood" and Mike and hearing "Pood" recall an incident from the early Pacer days....

I've known Pood and the Furimsky family since I was 2 years old. My heart goes out to all of you. Pood's with Margaret again. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless.
