Sorry to hear this news about Paul. A great loss! Condolences to the Gaglio's from the Tubello family. I remember when Paul and my Dad (Tubby) would be on stage playing music, then break into a comedy routine, so funny that the guests could not stop laughing and rolling on the floor. Insert Maryrose (my Dad's cousin) into the routine, and Paul lost his complete composure! I would like to think they are entertaining in heaven tonight.

M y name is Gene Morvay and I played drums with Paul in the Catskill Mtns. We wwere with the Don Michaels band. Paul had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around with. A good musician and friend . Will miss him.

As a childhood friend of Maria, Tina and BFF and classmate Paul Jr., I spent many hours at the Gaglio home in Washington Heights, for lunch and after school on school days in the 1960's-1970's. I also enjoyed many a ride crammed in the well of Paul's orange VW wagon going to gymnastics classes (those were the days). Unlike most fathers, It was typical to find Paul at home during the daytime and even hearing him practice his instruments because professional musicians don't work 9-5, which...

In my former days as a musician I worked many club dates with Paul. He was truly an extremely talented man who always knew how to please a crowd. His voice and saxophone playing were always first class and his MC abilities were second to none. When I got married I had my choice of the hundreds of musicians I had worked with but I wanted Paul to provide the music for my wedding reception, and he certainly didn't disappoint me.
