Not sure what to say?

Blanche,
I only met you once but knew you well from Paul's constant reference to you. I was the 1982 North Shore High School Year Book Editor and Paul was our sponsor. He was such a fun person to work with. We all truly enjoyed him whether he was getting after us for not listening or laughing with us/at us or at the faculty. He wanted me to be Year book Editor my Sr. year (1982) but the school had a policy preventing me from doing so since I was also in HOSA. Paul walked me down...

We were so sad to learn of Paul's death. We were Giddings High School students when he was there. We last saw you at the Class of 1957 reunion 10 or so years ago.

Dear Blanche:
Paul was a dear man and a inspiring teacher. I sang in his choir in Giddings. He encouraged me to major in music at North Texas. He even drove me to my audition for a music scholarship in February, 1956. I have had a lifetime of wonderful musical activities because of his encouragement. My husband and I are so sorrowful to find out about his passing. We remember fondly visiting with the two of you at Lakeview.

Paul scowls: the rest of us ham it up!

Paul was without doubt the one person at NSHS who was the most influential in my life! I sang in his choir for three years (66-68) and performed in HMS Pinafore in 1967. He imparted to me his love of great music and great composers. I shall always be grateful to him for taking me aside privately one day and suggesting I study voice privately. I went on to major in voice at university. Without knowing it he had a crucial impact on my life. Though music is not now my career I am married...

Blanche,

Paul will be sorely missed. He is the measure of a life well lived. Our best hope is that final comments on our existance will be as complete and rewarding as Paul's. Blessings and sympathies to you.

Blanche,
My heart goes out to you. I know how important Paul was to you in every way. Please know that I am thinking of you.
