Nielsen, Paul Cameron 53 6/10/1955 3/11/2009 An obituary is but a snapshot, a simple black and white photograph of a loved one. Paul Nielsen knew a lot about photographs, and artfully captured the beauty around him. Also a naturally gifted guitarist, Paul lived in and for the music. Throughout...

Not sure what to say?

Susan,
Don & I continue to pray that time will turn your sorrow to joy, and that the hole in your heart will one day be filled with love and laughter as you remember Paul's quick wit and ready smile. It was a pleasure getting to know him these past years in the Gospel Choir. He was such a delightful person, and we will miss him dearly. God bless you for sharing him with us Susan.
With our love & prayers,
Dodie & Don Gloud

Susan:
I'll always cherish the time I spent with you and Paul--good wine, good conversation, good friends. And for some odd reason I vividly remember him passionately describing Stevie Ray's music to a bemused Norman. Not sure if he ever convinced him to listen to the CD or not, but the effort was fun to watch! I'm going to miss Paul's kindness, lively interest in everything going on in the world, and his welcoming smile.

Susan,
Please know that Crayton and I are praying for you during this time of bereavement. We pray that God's love and comfort will sustain you for the days ahead.
Praying for you,
Wendy & Crayton Jackson

I was the bass player with Mayfield Road Band and Paul was one of the guitar players. Paul was totally dedicated to the blues and was instrumental in shaping the vision and the signature sound of that band. He made us feel like we had enormous potential and that we could go as far as we wanted; that if you love something go ahead and do it and the only real limit is ourselves.

Hi Susan
I'm continuing to pray for your strength and comfort.
There are things that happen in our lives that we don't fully understand and with those things sometimes come heartache that we can't explain. Keep those precious memories of Paul wrapped around your heart and as time pass your pain will diminish, your tears will cease and your heart will heal.
And when thoughts of Paul cause you to smile instead of cry, you will then know that your heart has fully healed.

Dear Susan and Family:

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Paul; you are both my dear friends....

One of the best things that happened, when I began singing with the Gospel Christmas choir, ten years ago, was meeting Susan and Paul Nielsen.
I know that "God is the joy and the strength of my life", as HE is also for you and the family. God bless you and give you peace.

Susan,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you walk through this difficult season in your lives. May you all know and experience the presence of the Almighty "Comforter" as you look to the days, weeks, months and years to come.

We will always remember Paul's unique sense of humor, and that he found the perfect 'audience' in you, Susan. We treasure our 'lobster' memories...especially that Paul was the only one to ever bring a LIVE one to dinner...!
We're thinking of you...
Karen and Paul

Dear Eric, Dede & family,
We were so sorry to hear about your brother, Paul. He sounded like a great brother, husband and friend to many. We will continue to pray for God's peace during this difficult time. "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you." John 14:27
Love & prayers,
