Not sure what to say?

He was my 6th grade teacher--Harry L. Johnson in 1975. I tell everyone about "my 6th grade Social Studies teacher" when asked "what made you want to be a teacher?" I always had a great deal of respect for him.

Mr Peca was my all time favorite teacher. From 6th grade at Danial S Dickinson 1964. We had a mini class picnic get together with him around 2010 and I am glad that I had the opportunity to tell him so. He introduced us to politics as it was his first time voting for presidential election. We took tours of the local cemetery. He was big on extemporaneous speaking teaching us to think for ourselves.

I miss my uncle Paul he was a very intelligent man who loved life and taught intelligence. Love you Aunt Ruth.

Great grand uncles I guess hmmm??? So after reading all of the post from former students I feel like I have missed out on meeting or knowing who he was and wish I had met him but...

Mr. Peca was a force in my childhood as my sixth grade teacher at C. Fred Johnson. He help a young mind start to learn to think critically.

I was a 6th grade student at Harry L Johnson way back in 1974. I showed up to visit him in 1985, after getting my BS in Elementary Ed. He was one of the reasons I became a teacher. I even got to talk to his class about what life was like when I was in his class! He was a fantastic teacher, and he took great care to TEACH his class what we need for life, not just what we needed to pass the class. It's 2020 and I have not forgotten him and I speak of him often, with fond memories.

I was a student of Mr. Peca (so was my 3 sisters & 2 brothers) and without a doubt, this Man was the 'Real Deal', was the BEST teacher I ever had, and after 38 years, I remember him for some lesson he taught me, or some kindness he displayed, or how he could lift your entire consciousness with his words of wisdom. I feel blessed to have been his student, and in his after life may he know the deep appreciation and Love I have for him and the positive influence he has had upon me. I wish...

Mrs Peca and the entire Peca family, I had Mr. Peca for fifth grade at Harry L. Johnson school, in the very early 1980's. He had a profound impact on all the students he taught; for me, he made History come to life. My prayers are with you all and I hope you are able to find some comfort knowing how much he was loved as a teacher and a person.
