Not sure what to say?

I just recently became aware of the passing of Paul. He was a professor of mine at Washington & Jefferson College. In addition to being an outstanding teacher he was a friend, a mentor and an inspiration.

As a current member of the Board of Trustees at Washington & Jefferson Paul played a very significant role in whatever success I have achieved.

I will never forget Paul for how he helped shape my life. We should all be so blessed as to have had a Paul Wice...

Paul was my professor at Washington and Jefferson. In fact, I majored in Paul Wice. He was a major influence on me professionally and personally. He was a great friend. I will miss him. My sympathies go out to his children. Phil Friedman

Prof. Wice was one of the nicest, most caring professors at Drew. He was my professor for American Govt (a class I now teach at DePauw University, and I often go back to my notes from his class!) and political biography (one of my favorite classes as an undergrad). He always shared personal stories about his kids and his family, and took an interest in his students' lives beyond the classroom. I think I can speak for many alumni when I say that I feel lucky to have known him as a professor...

Paul and I began our teaching careers together in 1971 at Washington and jefferson College. Though we both then headed in different geographical locations, he has always been an inspiration to me and an example of what every college professor should be - a great teacher, a great scholar, a decent tennis player, and a good human being.

Paul was a great friend, a terrific teacher and a dedicated, if undersized, basketball player! My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

With Deepest Sympathies,
