Pearl passed away June 7th, 2011 in Omaha, Neb. Pearl Edna Aanonson, the daughter of Peter and Evva (Haines) Aanonson was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Eatherville. Pearl received her education in country schools, graduating from Maple Hill High School in 1939. On June 4, 1943 she was united in marriage to Ray A. Fry at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Together they farmed in the Jack Creek Township for over 39 years. Ray passed away April 11, 1982. Pearl continued to farm with her sons until retiring. Pearl was an active member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church singing in the church choir. She loved farm life, raising three children, gardening, cooking, music, being a 4-H leader, member of the CCC club and baking as her forte and quilting. Left to cherish Pearl's memory are son, Marlyn Fry and daughter Joleen Schieffer and her husband Frank of Omaha, Neb., six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren: sister Ollie S Fry, and brother Orin Aanonson wife Sharon, and numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Darlene Fry and daughter-in-law Susan Fry. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Roger A Fry, nephew Stephen Fry, sister Verna (Aanonson) McGregor and husband James McGregor, brothers-in-law Roy Fry and Robert Fry and sister-in-law Mildred (Fry) Sandstoe and husband Leonard.
