I was a friend of the vander Hart family, as a good friend of Ken Vander Hart. I remember well, Ken and I going with Pearl to pick out a Christmas tree, somewhere up by Rockford, for many years in a row. Arnold taught me many things about car care. Ken and my family actually had distant relativesa in Pella, Iowa. I will always remember Arnold and Pearl and Ken Vander Hart as generous, interesting, hard working souls. The kind of people you NEVER forget.
