Longtime Stop and Shop employeeLYNN-Mrs. Penny L. (Fish) Spring, age 63, of Lynn, died Saturday, May 10th at Kindred Hospital, Peabody, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife for 43 years of Melvin D. Spring.Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Ernestine (Russell) Fish. She grew up in the Beachmont section of Revere and attended Revere High School.She worked at the Stop & Shop in Swampscott for over 10 years.In addition to her husband, she leaves one son Melvin D. Spring, Jr. and his wife April and two daughters Stacey Clay and Kelly Hill all of Lynn; a brother Russell Fish of Bartlett, NH; a sister Terri Coville of Middleton; six grandchildren Collin and Carter Clay, Christine Hill, Samantha Haskell, Ashley and Kaitlyne Spring; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.Service Information: Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral 157 Maple Street Lynn Home on Thursday at 9 a.m. Funeral Service in the First Church in Lynn, Congregational, 678 Lynnfield Street, Lynn at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn.
