Peter and his contemporaries in NZ rugby laid the foundations that contributed to our countries recognition as a unique place He made me proud and happy to live here. Cheers good and great man.

Peter, when you joined our family you easily slipped into the role of big brother - it was so comfortable being around you. Although we had few opportunities to meet, those occasions were full of unforgettable memories. We will always remember the wonderful (and entertaining) road trips we made with you and Jane. None of us will ever forget you demonstrating - somewhere in the middle of the South Island - how to make REAL billy tea! RIP dear Peter. Forever in our hearts.

Our love and thoughts are with you at the passing of an epic man and if truth be told a house-hold name. Barry and I have followed the life of Peter throughout the years and what an amazing life it has been. We will join the service tomorrow which is so appreciated. You don't get to meet many "greats" in your lifetime. But Bushy was one of them. A legendary photographer, but also incredibly generous to those of us who were just beginners when we first met him. He did so much for so many of us, and he was a friend to everyone. It was a privilege to have known him.

Loved picking the paddock mushrooms with his handy pocket knife and lazing in the outdoor chair at our cottage he will be sadly missed but kept in our memories with fondness. Love Mike and Judy Page.

Such a unique man and our very own famous neighbour. Severn St won't be the same. Heartfelt condolences to Rachel, Jane and the extended family. Many memories of times past.
