I was Business Manager and worked with Peter up until his retirement from the Sandwich Public Schools. He was a wonderful person to work with and to know as a person. We had some phone conversations just recently and I am fortunate to have had that opportunity to talk with him and to share a few laughs and remembrances. Catherine, Pete Jr, Dave, Lynn,& Family: so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He was an excellent teacher & administrator, I felt privileged to work with him all those years in East Longmeadow. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I remember fondly remember Pete as a teacher/class advisor then principal and superintendent. His love of teaching and children showed throughout his years. RIP Pete.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Cannone family.

Mr. Cannone was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was the vice principal at ELHS, where I was a student. He always treated kids with respect and kindness. Sending his family hugs and condolences.

I loved his biology class and he was one of the best teachers I ever had. He also was my class advisor and did an amazing job making sure all our activities were fun and successful. He inspired me to become an educator myself. He always taught with such enthusiasm that everyone could not wait for his class every day. I still...

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies at this difficult time.
