Not sure what to say?

Peter, you'll always be in the thoughts of those that cared about you.
Perry, thinking about you at this time.

Thinking of you ....

The 50th reunion of Peter's Douglas High School class of 1959 was celebrated last Saturday September 19,2009, with many classmates attending. He was with us in spirit; a silent prayer was offered in his memory. Rest in peace, my old friend and classmate. Richard

Perry,
I was saddened to hear about Peter's passing. Although I did not know him, - except from your always-interesting stories about life in Douglas during our work projects in the past - from reading his obituary, I can tell that he was quite a "Renaissance" man and accomplished many meaningful things in his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I was saddened to read about Peter. Recently I was in East Douglas and thought about the friendship between the Coppola and the Mone families. Please remember me to Charlotte. I enjoyed the wonderful book written by Tony and edited by Peter: "They Race Horses on Main Street". I look at it often.

Dear Perry and Charlotte,
I am so deeply sorry to hear about Peter's passing as I had no idea he was ill. We were classmates from elementary through high school and although I've been away from Douglas since graduation, I've always associated fond memories of growing up with Peter, as well as others of my class. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Perry, as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Perry, Beckett, Lafe and Charlotte,
My deepest condolences to hear about Peter's passing. What an amazing man to have as part of your lives. I first met Peter when I became part of the 250th Anniversary preparations for Douglas. His influence on me has enriched me over the years; from meeting you all, sharing time together, to the cherished memories I have of him while we worked on the town's historical book, talked herbs, or shared the simplicity of great tasting food. I'll always...
