Read MoreIt was obvious that Peter loved the Lord by his devotion to God's word and by the way he treated others. He baptized me way back in the 70's and I will always be thankful for that. He could turn a troubling day into a better one by his ready smile and happy demeanor!
May God comfort Peter's family and friends. I'm positive that he has already heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Peter was very instrumental in my years of service on the Modesto city schools board of education. He encouraged, supported, campaigned, and prayed for me. He was a great role model for public service and an inspiration. I have often thanked God for putting him in my life; he will be greatly missed!
