Not sure what to say?

Diane -
Although I have lived in Hawaii for close to 40 years and have had little contact with SBHS '64 I was sad to hear about Pete. At SBHS we used to joke with each other about our passions; golf and computers. Glad to hear that he was successful with his passion. I always wondered about that. I'm still trying with mine.

Diane,

Marie and I send our heartfelt condolences to you. Pete and I worked in ORGII as well as research. Pete was a wonderful guy.

Peace,
Harry

So sad about the sudden passing of Peter. So many prayers are with you from your classmates SBHS '64.
May you always feel that support and know Peter is always close by.

Heartbroken to hear of Pete's passing. He was a great friend to me at SBHS, as he was to everyone he met. My deepest sympathies to you Diane and to your son. He'll be with all of us in Spirit for some time to come.

Diane,
Our family wishes to send our deepest sympathy to you during this time. You are very much in our thoughts!

Dear Diane,
Thinking of you with deepest sympathy at this sad time. May your memories of Pete and the prayers of all your friends comfort you and your family.

When I emailed my brother (Pete Dempsey) with the tragic news, he responded with reminiscences of happy days caddying and golfing with Pete at Shennecossett and playing together on the SBHS golf team.

We all remember Peter so fondly and know that our words cannot possibly console you in your grief. But...

Dear Diane and Family,
We are very sad to hear of Pete's passing. He was a wonderful guy and a great conversationalist. I (Deb) will miss sharing jokes with him over Carol and Terry's house every Christmas Eve. I always looked forward to that. There are some jokes, the classics, that will be hard to tell without thinking of him and his laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Diane,
My husband Tony, daughter,Kim and I are sorry about the passing of Peter.Kim remembers Peter as the cousin who thought she looked like him at our 'Ryan' family reunions. I still have fond(?)memories of Peter and the rest of the boy cousins chasing us girls with crabs at Ocean Beach. Peter had a smile that could light up a room. God Bless you and may the love of friends and family comfort you at this time. Love, Nancy

Dear Diane,

I was so surprised and saddened to read about Peter's passing. I will always remember the laughs at your home in Groton while we gathered around the piano and sang with your uncle{bing}.

Let's try again to get together for lunch when everything quiets down. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
