Not sure what to say?

At first, I just looked him up because I was thinking about my mom which led to him. He cured my grandmothers first bout of Cancer, my mother from 4 different Cancers - she was one of the first beneficiaries of his stem-cell research and my aunt, one of the first survivors of Hodgekins disease in the early 1970's. My mom used to say, "City of Hope sent him the ones they didn't think they could cure, and he did"! Although my mom passed too soon in 2004, I am keenly and deeply grateful for Dr...

Dr. Peter J Rosen will live on in my memories as a man dedicated to his work, but never made you feel as though what he did was work. It felt like kindness, truthfulness, compassion, and perseverance. He worked smart and hard to find a way to assure me that though my baby was only a year old, that I would one day be a grandmother - I'm not yet, but that baby is old enough to make me one - and followed through even when things kept making the process difficult.
Thank you Dr. Rosen for all...

I miss my fathers wisdom and influence profoundly. Although grateful for all the time we had, I feel a tremendous sense of regret that my family and I did not have many more years with him and his guidance. My passion for music, art and humanity can greatly be attributed to my father. His voice and presence will remain with me forever. His admiring daughter - Claudia

I worked with Dr. Rosen as a Medical Oncology fellow at USC, 1988-89. I was not aware of bhis passing. I was watching USC-UCLA highlights and just remembered that he was a die-hard USC fan....googled him and got the sad news. He was great to work with. RIP

Farewell Too Soon Bouquet

Dr. Rosen was my late husband, Rick Bellinson's oncologist in the late 1970's to 1980's. Dr. Rosen was beloved by our family and became a Doctor/Friend. He and Rick loved to talk sports and travel and laughed even during difficult appointments. He gave his heart and soul to helping Rick and we know he must have done the same for his other patients. I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss and send my love to you all. Dr. Rosen was an angel to our family and will, no doubt, always be...

He was always an inspiration to me. He supported me in all my interests, was happy to help with whatever history project I had without a second thought. Now that I'm older, I understand his interests in Latin, opera, and history more, find myself sharing them, and wish we could have discussed them more often. I will miss you, Pop Pop.

Thinking of all the family at this time. It was a privilege to know Peter.
