To the Family of Phil Foote-
I offer my deepest condolences. I was a Special Events Manager for Filene’s Department stores in Boston, and hired Phil to play for many major grand openings of stores in Crossgates Mall, Pittsfield, Schenectady, and more places than I can count. I just loved the guy. He was so great to work with — and what great music he could get from that piano!
I was just thinking about Phil today — because I hadn’t heard from him in a while. I decided to google him,...

Phil and family. Going back to the early 60's is when I met Mr. Foote up here in Bolton Landing. He added class and charm to what makes up this great small town. I will have the memories of his presence here. Bolton will never be the same without him.

Phil,
Sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful man. Regretfully I could not pay my respects on Friday as I was out of town but my thoughts are now with you and your family.

Dear Phil, Mary Jo and families,
I was so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I can remember hearing him play inside as we all played outside. It was a nice part of growing up.
I so wanted to come to his service, but I wasn't feeling well. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Phil, Katie and Family

I was sorry to learn of both the passing of Phil's dad and Katie's mom. They were both lovely people and I will keep them in my prayers.

I am writing this on behalf of my dad, Louis Gardner. We lost him a year ago
(3/26/09). His memorian message is on the same page of your dad's Obituary. Phil Foote was a name that was heard in our house for years. My dad and your dad spent much time together enjoying their music together and playing golf at the Town of Colonie Golf Course.

I am sure my dad is playing his sax and Phil is playing his piano in heaven.

My condolences to his family.

To Phil's family,
As someone who goes back many years I remember "Mr. Foote" in my years at CCHS (55-59). He was a fantastic person, musician and teacher. In the begining days of rock and roll I think of I was one of the few teenagers who dug jazz and the big band sound and it was made all the better by Mr Foote's appreciation for the same music.
May God give you strength during this most trying of times.

Phil -- So sorry to read of your father's passing. Please accept my condolences at this time.

Sorry to see of Phil's passing, we remember him from years at Holy Cross and all the music he provided for our enjoyment over the years.
