Not sure what to say?

Debbie, Val, Jackie, and Brian, We have no words at times like this to really express how our hearts break for each and every one of you. We hope that you find comfort in each other. May fond memories of Phil bring you comfort during this hard time in your lives. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. I truly was blessed to have had the opportunity to open Jenkins Middle School and teach Physical Education with such a respected talented amazing coach, mentor, and...

Phil, I had the highest respect for you. You were my idol growing up as a star athlete at both Palmer and Mitchell. I always wanted to coach with you. Maybe in the Kngdom of Heaven. Deb lost a great husband, Val, Jackie and Brian lost a great father. And this world lost a great human. Rest in Peace my Friend.

May you find sympathy to comfort you and cherished memories to bring peace to your heart. Our favorite memories were Sabin events and after basketball games pizza meals. Love to Debbie and families

Phil and I go back to South Junior High School. He was a great pitcher and they won the state championship when we were at Palmer High School. As good of an athlete as he was, he was a better person. He touched many students as an educator and coach. He will be missed.

There are not enough words to praise Phil, as a teacher/coach and human being our community lost a treasure, RIP my friend, LeRoy J. Valdez

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Coach Johnson was the Best! Such a friendly, inspiring man. He contributed to so many people's successes. He will truly be missed.
