Not sure what to say?

I learned of his death. He was the best. Rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful man. He was mine and my oldest child's doctor. I will forever remember the Cookie Monster and every time he saw me he would sing out "Rapunzel Rapunzel let down your hair". Godspeed Dr. Jacobson.

Judy and Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Phil's passing! He was a wonderful person and doctor. I appreciated how he would work with me, as a teacher, for any of my students who were his patients that might need ritalin. May wonderful memories give you comfort.

My memory of Dr. Jacobson is one of a very caring physician. I was about 4 years old in Mercy Hospital and I had been placed in a medical tent with IV's in my hand and foot. I was crying because the nurses had tied me to the bed to keep me from pulling the IV's out again when Dr. Jacobson walked past my room and heard me crying. Even though I was not his patient he stopped and came in my room to find out why I was crying so I told him. He stayed in my room and sang to me until I fell asleep....

I seldom take note on this page of personal incidents, but sometimes doing so is warranted. Yesterday, Shabbat morning, Dr. Phil Jacobson passed away suddenly. Phil was a former president and current board member at my former congregation, Temple B'nai Israel of Aurora.
He was more than just a board member/officer, though: he was an integral part of the shul, volunteering his time and effort endlessly for all sorts of things. He chaired the adult education committee, and took it extremely...

Rest in peace cookie monster. .......You were the best Doctor ever. You always had a way to make me laugh.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Jacobson. Such fond memories of his kindness and caring of our children during doctor visits. Always the entertainer, but a serious straight shooter when needed.

Judy and family,
Marci sent Gail and I a link to this site so we could send you our sincerest condolences on your loss. We have many fond memories of Phil though it's been over 30 years since we lived in Aurora. Please know we're thinking of you during this difficult time.

It is with sadness that I read of Dr. Jacobsons passing. He also was our sons pediatrician in the 1980s. I smiled as I read others tell of his Cookie Monster impressions; what great memories. We loved him. Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.
