Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Phil. I have fond memories of our time in Burlington and playing Blue Devils football.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow and grief.

Rest in peace, Brother.

Mrs. Jerri, My prayers go outto you and your family. I am truly lost for words to say, I happened to be in Essie's and saw his obituary hanging. I was broken hearted..I will always remember my LEO buddy, My EAGLE fan always. Every time i go to the St. Moritz he will be on my mind. When our birth month arrives he will be celebrated. May GOD continue to be with you and bless you! Love you both always!

Daddy, Thank you for showing me who you could be in my younger years. I will treasure those memories always. May God reveal the truth to me in the days ahead. In God's time may what was done in darkness be brought to light. May your soul be blessed and rest in eternal peace.......In the midst of it all, she knows it's a new season and a new day. She is yet standing & holding on to God's word.

Jerri:

I just learned that Phil passed a few minutes ago. Words do not exist that can convey the feeling of emptiness that washes over me. Such a good man.
phil wore his heart on his sleeve in ways even he may not have known. Please accept my deepest condolences.

To Jerri and the rest of the family of our dear friend Phil;

I will always, always remember Phil as a kind and gentle man who always had genuine concern for everyone. He and Jerri both...the most loving, and adorable couple!

You never expected to see one of them without the other. Jerri, I pray that you find comfort in knowing that Phil is walking the streets of gold, smiling at all his old buddies, and certainly has a story to tell. He also has a spot right next to him...

Aunt Jerri,
May you remember (Uncle) Phil the way he would want you to as, Jaclyn and I will also remember his laughter and stories. May he rest in peace, many thoughts and prayers.
Carole and Jaclyn Sedlak

Hey Aunt J.K.~ Needless to say I am speechless and really don't know what to say to you. This is a hard pill to swallow as Uncle Phil was my dude...there was no one like him. No one. I am going to keep you and the rest of the Parrish family in my prayers because I know the Lord will keep you during this next difficult chapter. Find some comfort in knowing that your friends and family will be your strength when yours seems to elude you. I love you.

To Andrea Parrish, Mrs.Jerri Parrish and family of Phillip Parrish, I convey my condolences to you on his passing and for your loss. I also convey condolences on behalf of his other Parrish family members - he and we share the same ancestors who were former Slaves from Goochland and Mathews Counties, Virginia. May the peace of GOD, which passes all understanding, be with you and strengthen you at this time of your bereavement and in the days ahead.
Daniel W. Parrish, III, nephew of...

You know it's funny how the Lord places people on your heart and you think about them, wonder how they are doing, smile at a memory you had of them and wish you could talk to them. That is what happened to me last week with Big Daddy, then I heard of his passing - which took my breath away.

Phil had a kind, gentle and loving spirit. He always made my heart smile when I saw him, always had a hug and a kiss for me and was always concerned about me an my family. And I loved that...
