Phyllis Jean Davies

So many good memories of our times at the Monday Club with DAD.

Phyllis was a remarkable human in so many ways. Always loving, always caring. I am better for having known her. Deepest sympathy to Bill and Dawna.

I will always remember Phyllis´s stories she shared with us during our meetings of our Memoir Writing group at the Senior Center of San Luis Obispo! She shared her laughter and tears, triumphs & tragedies. What a full life she lived. What a generous & loving person! We will miss her.

Phyllis and Dawna hosted a couple CRFG meetings and we had a chance to see the Solar Oven in operation.

Phyllis was a tireless advocate of environmental and organic causes and supporter of the SLO Grange and many other organizations. But, I will always remember her demonstration of cooking with a solar oven-a very creative woman. Her can-do spirit will be missed...

A chance meeting with Phyllis in the early '80's led to a meeting with her parents and then information connecting me to a relative of mine; William Wesley Van Orsdel, aka: "Brother Van". Thank you Phyllis and the Armstrongs.
