Dear Dan & Katie: Such a shock to have read your mother's death notice. My husband Richard and I were very ill and unable to visit and present our personal sympathies but I called my son Kurt to let him know and several friends who I know knew Katie. Today is the first day I have been UP. We drove by the house weekly and I did notice a month or so of no activity but thought nothing of it except I would be reminded of Phyllis and besides other things, recalled that she helped me select...

Phyllis was a dearly regarded friend and my AA sponsor. I'm so sorry that she had to suffer so much at the end of her life. But what a blessing to spend Christmas with God, her husband and other loved ones in Heaven. I will continue to pray for her and ask her for guidance.
