Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of getting to know Phyllis whenever she came to Baltimore to visit Polli. She was a kind, compassionate and gentle woman with a sweet sense of humor. I always enjoyed seeing her and could see the deep connection between her and her daughter. You were all blessed to have her in your lives. She's now enjoying her reward in Heaven where we will all see her again. Peace and love,

She will bi missed greatly not only in her community but for all she always did for others. Mike and I were so lucky to have her in our lives ...but also the family who adoped us . She taught you all to be warm and caring and that is an amazing legacy. Will Miss you Mom Hubbard and you will always be our Sunshine ...I will never hear that song again not think of you .

See ya Mommy
I wish i had had the thoughts when I spoke at her service but I would ask anyone who knew her to honor her memory by giving to your community or favorite charity not your money but your time and energy. Try and make the world a better place as my Mom tried every day. It is my mission in life to try and follow her example in more areas of my life.
She also gave me the gift of her example of being a friend. I am surrounded by a great family of friends from many parts of...

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your wonderful Mom and Grandmother.
I have not seen her in many years but she certainly remains in my memory as a very good friend from St Marks. We worked together and served on many committees together. She was a hardworking good Christian woman who loved and cherished her family. Sherrie Fischer (West)

Phyllis(Ma Hubbard) made a lasting impression on my life. My memories of her go back to the house on Girard with the huge kitchen, where is pretty much the only room I saw her in! Parties and sitting in the gazabo at the house on Xenia and digging up hostas which I will have forever in my "Hubbard Hosta" garden. The time Polli & I took our Moms to lunch downtown, the day she catered my niece's graduation party...she was always there to talk to or to listen to us talk. I love you...

Mom was an incredible person. I will never forget her warm humor, intelligence, love, courage and commitment to family, friends and community. Also never to be forgotten are all of the great meals and treats she shared with all. First on the list has to be her sugar cookies. Once tasted you were always waiting for the next batch.
It was an honor to be her son and I will miss her very much.

I often wonder if anyone reads the messages left on guest book sites...if so, please accept my deepest sympathies. Phyllis made the world a better place. She and Hub invited us into their lives, their home, their family and took an interest in the lives of everyone who crossed paths with them. I have so many fond memories of the two of them. They lived a full life and shared the wonderful parts with everyone. I will always remember Phyllis's cookies and eating Swedish pancakes (I can't...

Phyllis was the most wonderful mother-in-law a woman could ever dream about. Her heart was so full of love. She lived a Biblical life as she was very much a Proverbs woman, a shining example of what a mother and wife should be. She will be missed terribly but I know she is resting in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus.

I'll never forget Phyllis. The first time I met her, I introduced myself by saying, "Hello, I'm Jaden". Her response was, "You can call me Grandma!" as she gave me a big hug. I have never met anyone with such a friendly soul. She exuded kindness and love and I am a better person for it. I love you Grandma!
