Phyllis was my distant cousin through her mother Rhoda. She spoke with my Mom Theresa Landry (nee Burke) on many occasions while doing research into her Canadian roots. Thanks to her we have lots of information on the Jean-Baptiste Burke and Hazel lineage. Mom (91 years of age) was very saddened to hear of Phyllis's passing. She used to look forward to Phyllis's phone calls and mail. Our sincere sympathies to you her family. She will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathy to Mike, Dan, Booey, Bill and family. We have fond memories of fun at high school swim meets, gatherings afterwards and shopping in her little shop. Phyllis was a fun loving and kind person who loved and adored her boys. My boys have fond memories of time spent at their house for breakfast after practice and backyard gatherings. Thinking of all of you.

My deepest sympathy to Bill and Phyllis's loving sons. I knew Phyllis from working at American Greetings also worked with her in her "My Back Yard" store in Lakewood. She always put a smile on your face, she was so fun and loving I am shocked to hear this terrible news. I know you will all have loving memories of this wonderful person, I know I will forever remember her.
