My prayers go out to Joy and the kids Avila will always be missed forever my brother

Pilo was a fine soldier and a good man. Though I did not know him well, I enjoyed numerous conversations with him, in which his passion for life, and his love for his family was obvious. It was clear he was deeply in love with his wife and extremely proud of his children. I admired and respected him for his commitment to his family, his church, and the US Army. I know he will be sadly missed, but those who miss him will see him once again in heaven. This is the promise we hold to.

I did not know Pilo very well. However, he seemed like a very kind and caring person. Our entire neighborhood is saddened by this loss of life and opportunity to know him better. I regret I will not be able to join my husband at his service but I offer my sincere condolences to his family.

May the Lord comfort you in this time of great sorrow

We love you brother. You were such a great friend to our whole family. You will be deeply missed!

A true blessing to know him even if just for a little while. My brother in Christ, I will miss you deeply bud.

Watching your children grow in the love of Christ has been the ultimate gift that you could ever bestow upon them. It will be an honor to carry forward your wishes in their growth of true Love; love of God, family, country and community. You will be truly missed. Until we meet again....
