Not sure what to say?

Joanne, I just heard. I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and your family to find peace and for the healing process to begin quickly. Please let me know if there is anything I can do!

Joanne:

We have great memories of all the times we spent together while our kids were growing up. Fred's quick and easy sense of humor provided hours of laughs while we were playing pinochle but we always knew he took those games seriously. Our thoughts are with you, Mike and Greg and his family, also Don and Kay, as you make your way through this difficult time.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Joanne,

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear about Fred. One of my great childhood memories is playing with Mike and Greg while our parents played pinochle. I still use Fred's "pull back a bloody stump" line when I'm playing cards today!! Fred was also my godfather.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

If I should go before the rest of you
Break not a flower
Nor inscribe a stone
Nor when I am gone
Speak in a Sunday voice
But be the usual selves
That I have known

Weep if you must
Parting is hell
But life goes on
So....All is well.
