Catherine was a wonderful person and was a dear friend to me. I travelled with her to her home in Nova Scotia and the village of Sherbrooke. She was so proud to show me her home town. We also travelled to the Oberammagau Passion play in Germany in 1984. Catherine was also available if anyone needed her. I shall miss her terribly. Sharron Randall (Windsor, Ont.)

I remember when Catherine, who was my mother's first cousin, visited us in the early 1960's when I was about 13. It was the first time I remember meeting her. That Sunday, she gave the sermon at our (Methodist) church. In those days, it was unusual for a female to have broken into a traditionally male occupation, and even at my young age, I was aware of this, and proud of her. I saw her again in Toronto in the late '90's, and always received a long Christmas letter. I will always think of her...
