Rachel Lake passed away on March 29, 2015 in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on April 12, 2015.
She continues to be a role model to this day. I am now in the school system as a Para Educator. I see other teachers who are as dedicated as she was. She was a blessing.

What a great Lady! I loved chatting with her, and laughing! She had a generous spirit and a loving heart. I will always miss the twinkle in her eye. One of the best!

So sorry to lose such a happy, cheerful, intelligent person. As a PTA cohort first then staff friend at Shorewood I have very fond memories of Rachel as she came and went during her day. My heartfelt condolences. Be assured that she was truly loved and appreciated. Merrilee MacDonald (Dana's mom).
