I spent 2020 in Maryland when I met Rachel. We spent lots of time laughing and making memories just learning about each other and our similar interests. Rachel was one of the fondest memories I made during my time working during the pandemic and I cherish her fondly.

Before I met Rachel, I remember passing by her home and marveling at the front windows adorned with curated collectibles and crafted wonders. Her zest for life was present in everything she did - something I came to quickly understand once we met. Whether you knew her well or were a stranger passing by, Rachel illuminated the lives of those around her. Bank St. glowed brighter simply because she was there. Rachel showed up for the people in her life. She championed me on when I needed it,...

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

One time on a really cold winter night, Rachel picked me up from my home in Brooklyn and we went to this freezing park nearby , she blasted the heat and rolled back her sunroof and we watched the birth of a cosmic flare while listening to serpentwithfeet. It was one of the most magical nights of my life. I was severely depressed and Rachel always knew how to rescue me. I´m not sure I´ve ever written so many poems about one person.

Rachel was a light in my life and many others at The Plus Bus-we are devastated to hear of her passing and wish so much peace and love to her family at this unimaginable loss. She will be remembered and her memory a blessing to all who knew her.

To John and Sarah ... Your undeniable love and strength you showed and gave to Sarah was so extraordinary...
