I worked with Ralph at SMUD. Ralph was a good friend and co-worker. I will never forget his warm smile and he always was running the campus at SMUD. Long ago, he gave me little clock for Christmas, I still have the clock and it still works. I think of him whenever I look at the time. I remember meeting Maria and his (1st)son at some function, I can't remember what. Ralph was a hard working, fun, loving family- man and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to be his friend. I am praying...

Maria and family,
I worked with Ralph for many years at SMUD. He was a very upbeat guy who loved his family. I was blessed with one last chance to see him last summer when he stopped by the office (he then bragged about his children and I bragged about mine). I did not know at the time what he was going through and wish I did. I had planned to visit him the week of Christmas and missed my chance. Maria, I had not seen you in a very long time, you are a very special person and I thank...

Ralph was a good friend and co-worker. I will never forget his warm smile and great humor and the way he showed such great pride when he spoke of his family and his career. I remember when he used to bring his daughter Katrina to the office when she was just five or six years old, and all he did was talk about her. Well, he returned to see us after he recuperated from his first surgery and he was still very proud of Katrina's accomplishments and spoke very highly of Maria, his sons and his...
