Uncle Ralph taught me to play the concertina when I was a young boy. He used to cut my hair when our family visited. He taught me what was possible when he was remodeling their house on Briggs Street. He taught me a lot about cars. When my first car was making a funny noise, I would stop by Northern Auto. Uncle Ralph would hand me a part and tell me to look for it and change it out (and he was right!). Our kids knew when we were getting car parts from Uncle Ralph that he would give them...
