Not sure what to say?

Holly and Jean:
I was recently informed of Ralph’s passing and my deepest sympathies go out to both of you and the whole family. Even though it has been many years, Ralph’s presence in my life has always been of great value to me. In a time when I had a lot more questions than answers, Ralph gently showed me that that wasn’t a bad thing and not to get frustrated when the answers weren’t right in front of me or what I expected. He helped me develop an understanding of the true value...

Ralph and I worked together at Youth Research Center, 1969-70. He was a wonderful co-worker and counselor/friend to me. I was so saddened to read of his death. My sincere sympathy to his family.

My deepest sympathy to Holly and her family. I have not met Ralph but I have read some of his work, it is a great loss for the falsely accused.
It was a pleasure to meet Holly at a Boston University conference in Nov. 2002.

Ralph's presence in this world was a gift to those who desperately needed his courage and insight. He saw the desperation of the falsely accused and stood up for truth before anyone else even knew there was a problem. No matter how busy he was, he and Hollida were never too busy to help. They did not discriminate between those who were powerful and those with nothing to offer in return. They were just there.

Despite the neverending personal attacks on Ralph, he continued to...

It's very sad to hear of Ralph's death. His work on true and false testimony in the early 1980s was trailblazing - and time proved him to be correct.

Dear Hollida, we are deeply saddened about Ralph, our hearts go out to you. This is a profound loss for everybody, especially his family and his number one devotee, you. Our life is richer and more meaningful from knowing and working with the two of you. His brilliance, down to earth candor and humor, and his humanity and courage will always be a part of us, and he is with us in our hearts. We'll be in touch and if there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. We love you, Randy...

I feel very privileged to have met both Holly and Ralph, during a visit to the USA a few years ago.

I will forever feel grateful that there were people such as Ralph who was willing to speak out on such an issue as false accusations of sexual abuse, when the professional consequences of doing so were extreme.

The opportunity to meet Holly and Ralph, enables me to have memories of Ralph that extend beyond that one issue. In the brief time that I spent with...

Ralph Underwager was a man of courage. He dedicated his life to truth and justice. He stood up for tens if not hundreds of people falsely accused not withstanding the personal cost to himself by adopting such unpopular positions. He will be missed. His death is a blow. I am grateful to having personally known him during the last years of his life.
