Randy - Gonna miss you pal. I can't begin to tell you how much we loved having you as a neighbor, and how great it was to see you around town or in the hood after Doobie moved in. You were the bright spot in the day of anyone lucky enough to cross your path. You touched the lives of many more than you know. I'll always have fond memories of your laughing smirk as you rode off, watching us wash the mud off our dirt bikes on Sunday afternoons; (yeah you were probably right about that). A sad...

Hiking BIshop's Peak with Randy was an experience! So full of life and hopefulness. We had lunch at Black Horse not long ago and he shared his ideas for a new business, talked of his current endeavors in the Mother Lode and offered to help out at our mountain cabin nearby. A wonderful friend, a passionate man and someone who lived life fully. Thanks Randy for your friendship. You are already missed greatly. I will be out of town for the memorial--I'd be there if I could. Blessings.

The hum drum of work would always changed when I could see Randy walk out of his coffee shop, with his full-time smile, after dealing with us.

Randy was one of the first people i met when I moved to SLO in 1997. Since then, I was one of the many lucky persons who were able to enjoy many happy times with him. When I say lucky, I mean it. His smile and kind words to us all will be forever cherished.He was a man who taught me many important life lessons, a man who I never wanted to dissappoint. Randy will forever be a part of our hearts and everyday lives. He will be in my heart forever. To Mia, Doobie and Norene, thank you for sharing...

Oh Randy, my heart is shocked and (extremely) saddened at your passing...your smiling eyes, larger than life smile and overall love for people will forever inspire me...my mind is swimming with happy memories of you behind the counter at Uptown handing out Wild Turkey Shots during Thanksgiving, or when you'd join me at a table beneath one of the patio's palms and ask me questions about my family and life in general as I sipped the best of the best coffee in town...You are dearly loved and...
