Randy Michael King departed this life on April 29, 2021; he was 69 years old. Randy was born on December 27, 1951, in Winnie, Texas, to Joseph Phillip King, Sr. and Laura Mae Henry King.


Randy attended East Chambers High School in Winnie, TX, and graduated in 1970. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1972 and served for 20 years retiring in 1992 as a Technical Sergeant (E-6). His awards and decorations include Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Ribbon, and Air Force Overseas Ribbon-Long Tour Ribbon. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, until he retired in 2020. He was married to Emmalean until she died in 1999. Together they had one son, Christoffer.


Randy had a passion for movies. He was a quiet man but would talk about movies with anyone. Throughout his life, he amassed a collection of over 30,000 titles.


Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Emmalean R. King, his father, Joseph Phillip King, Sr., his mother, Laura Mae King, brothers, George Randolph King, David Lee King, and Kenneth Wayne King, his grandmother, Olevia King, and sister-in-law Cynthia King.


Randy leaves to cherish in memory his son, Christoffer James King, brothers, Joseph Phillip King, Jr. (Jenelle), Larry James King (Ethel), Danny Ray King, Sr., Donald Gean King, Ricky Christopher King; sisters, Barbara Jean Bowden, and, Deborah Ann Griffin; two grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
