Thinking of you..I miss you Ray

thinking of Lisa and George today, tomorrow and often. But mostly for Ray, such a special guy. This candle is for you, Ray.

I miss you more than you'll know honey..not a day has gone by since you left..has my heart felt peace. It's second year & know that I'll always love you in my heart of hearts Raymond...I miss you constantly

I never met Ray in person. But in 1985 I had the pleasure of speaking to his wife and Ray himself. I am a Vietnam vet and after hearing brothers in the night I knew I wanted to tell the man who wrote and sang the song how my emotions we're just overwhelmed. I was able to speak to Ray several times and he sent me a copy of the song which I still have. I am saddened by his passing but I have a song that he sang with such passion that he will always be remembered Rip Ray

7. "I will never forget the fond memories of Ray. He was a one of the most fun people to be around. He was able to effortlessly make everyone else have a good time.
His spirit will live in me forever.
