Not sure what to say?

Butch, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.

We have such fond memories of when Ray and Bud saw which one could get the neighbors trash cans in first after the truck emptied them here at Twin Oaks! Ray was always right where he was needed in helping get things done here. And was always very glad to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by so many.

One of my favorite places to visit as a child was uncle Ray's and aunt Doris' house at Lake Norman. I will always remember that! ( Little Tommy )

Doris, my Dad Roy Simpson just called me and told me the sad news about Ray, he was very heart broken to hear of this, he had mentioned several times of wanting to get in touch with you and Ray to meet at the K&W where you use to meet and I failed to locate your phone number. Our prayers are with you and the family. Daddy can't drive to Mooresville alone and I can't make the visitation or funeral to take him, but promised that we would get in touch with you and come visit very soon. If...

I have so many fond memories of Ray from throughout the years, many of those from the beach. His quiet, yet confident nature along with his dry wit and sense of humor are just a few of the qualities I will remember when I think of Ray McGinnis...Doris, the two of you have been like family to me for many years and I will miss him dearly. I know the...

Doris & Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Ray was a sweet and special man who kept a cheerful heart throughout. We always parted at church with him saying, "You have a good week." I can't help but think of the good eternity he's now having with our Heavenly Father. May all your good and funny memories of him bring you all great comfort now. God Bless!

What a wonderful life you have had with Ray. He was such a special man. Even though he was small in statue, he was big in his heart and never said no to his friends. Dedicated to his church and God surely takes him to a heavenly place with all the saints in Heaven. You and him were special to us.
Love and Prayers be with you!

Our sincere sympathy.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
