Not sure what to say?

Really sorry hearing of his passing. We knew him from bowling at West Frankfort Bowl with him and the brothers for several years. Totally a great bunch of brothers.

Dad, I am happy knowing you have found real peace, but I will miss you. Going thru the things in the house this week, I kept thinking how surreal it was not to see you sitting in front of the TV eating ice cream or popcorn. Rest in peace, dad.

Ive known him as Grandpa, he was the most generous and caring person ever. When I heard the news, I just couldnt believe it. He will forever be in our hearts and life. We weren't blood, but you were most definitely considered a part of our family. Now you're with God, and thats all that matters.

Dennis and Ty: So sorry to learn of your dad/grandpa's passing. I love his military photo - what a handsome Marine! We know you were both very close to him, and your life will be empty for a while as you mourn the loss of this fine, special gentleman. Our sincere sympathy.

Dennis, although we didn't know your father I feel that we witnessed his spirit in you and your sons. Kevin, Meg and I send our condolences and pray for his peaceful repose.

Those who knew my Dad will remember him as a kind and gentle man. He led a quiet, unassuming life. Although I am sad, I know my Dad is much better off today for at last he has found true peace. He was indeed a unique individual who will be missed greatly. Love you Dad.

Very sad to hear about your Dad, Dennis! You and your family are in my prayers!

My Uncle. Loved like a Father by me. Kind, loving, with a great sense of humor. No one will miss you more than I will, nor will I ever forget you. You have left a place in my heart which simply cannot be filled,as there wasn't anyone like you for me. And I know you loved me. We rarely failed to tell each other.

Your humility, honesty, and decency, made me a better person as you led by example. I am forever grateful for all the time we spent together, though there was never enough. You...

Sorry to hear of your Grandpa's passing Kyle.
