Raymond J. Delaney

I met Ray at the Bluegrass Ramble picnic a long time ago. He had a son named Jonathan who sang and played bass. But this obituary didn´t say that Ray was survived by his son.

I'm just now finding this out :'( I've known Ray since I was a little boy...He was always so kind to me! I still have the bottle of guitar polish he gave me for my guitar :'(

We are so saddened to hear of Ray's recent passing. We have so many fond memories of him when he often came to visit our house in Mexico, NY. Especially with his pal Myron Barnes as they were truly the "best of friends and classmates." Ray will be truly missed by all of us!

So many years and so many memories- one of earth's finest has gone to Heaven's gates- no sad farewells, no tear dimmed eyes, where all is peace and love ... rest in Peace my treasured friend. Vicki, I am so sorry! As you know, Horst and Ray fought the same battle. Horst lost his on February 16th. We both loved going to listen to Ray and got a special kick when Ray would mention we were in the audience. Gosh, I am so sad. Horst enjoyed working with Ray and was very fond of him. Hugs...
